Johana started with Blount in 2019 as a receptionist but quickly took on additional responsibility helping the accounting department. From there when the position opened Johana then was promoted to our accounts receivable desk. Showing her desire to grow with the company she has worked hard and continually shown her dedication to Blount Construction. Blount Construction Company is proud to announce Juan Rivera as our August 2021 Employee Owner of the Month. Juan has been with Blount Construction three years and in that time has become a valued asset to the company. When Juan started for the company, he had very little experience in operating construction equipment. But in his short time, Juan has learned how to operate multiple pieces of equipment in the Blount Construction fleet. A strong work ethic keeps Juan working hard throughout the day with very little supervision. He is happy and eager to make sure the job is done right the first time. Blount Construction Company is excited to announce Dennis Gathings Jr. as our July 2021 Employee Owner of the Month. Dennis joined Blount four years ago as an Operator. Since then, he has been very agile and become an “All Around Crew Member” by being able to operate any piece of equipment the company owns. His comedic attitude always keeps everyone in a joyful mood while never letting the serious nature of the work go astray. Scott Madaris, his current foreman, says “He is very happy to work with Dennis as you can always count on him to get the job done.” Let’s congratulate Dennis on this well-deserved recognition.
